The Byron Visitor Centre has just moved back into the Old Station Master’s Cottage after an extensive refurbishment joint project made possible by funding contributed by State Government, Council and BVC members.

The space has undergone a long-awaited and much needed revamp and is now a world-class Visitor Centre offering an enhanced and streamlined visitor experience while still maintaining the “Byron vibe”.  The Centre now offers more digital enhancements like a 24-hour external touchscreen relaying information for visitors as well as easy to navigate “zones” making information gathering an easier process.

A strong focus on local business and enterprise is visible throughout the space and Arakwal representation is present with a new mural on the path leading to the Visitor Centre.

A lot of time effort and love went into the project, ensuring it was completed on time and on budget and the Byron Visitor Centre looks forward to offering the best possible experience to our vast number of visitors.

A new and improved Visitor Centre website has also been launched you can view the new website Click Here
