The Byron Business Events Bureau was officially launched on 21 February at AIME 2017, Melbourne.

AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) is a two day exhibition for those involved in organising business travel, meetings, incentives and events. The event allows industry decision makers from around Australia, Asia-Pacific and the rest of the globe to meet.

Over 2000 buyers are looking for the newest destination for conferencing, it was great to see Byron so well represented!

AIME commenced with a welcome networking function at the Carousel on Albert Park Lake. This function allowed both exhibitors and buyers the chance to network in a relaxed environment, prior to the trade exhibition.

Arriving in a convoy of beautifully restored Kombis, team Byron certainly made a lasting impression!

Byron Business Events Bureau was represented by Project Manager Jen Murphy, who stood shoulder to shoulder with Elements of Byron and the Byron at Byron Resort & Spa, showcasing all things Byron.

There was a lot of excitement surrounding Byron and the new Bureau.

We heard how much the Byron region’s conferencing capabilities are still unknown. By educating the industry, this represents amazing opportunities for Byron to attract bigger and better business events in the future.

With the Byron Business Events Bureau now dedicated to selling Byron’s capacity as 300+ delegate conference and business destination, Byron is well on the map now as the ‘newest’, most unique conference destination.
