Bangalow Theatre Company (BTC) is less than 3 years old and has already delivered three major productions at its historic home at Bangalow’s A&I Hall. With two sell out productions (The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Shop of Horrors) under its belt, in November Bangalow Theatre Company pulled off a third successive sell-out season with 6 sold out (and critically acclaimed) performances of the Broadway classic Chicago.

Yes, aspiring vaudevillian star Roxie Hart, her frenemy Velma Kelly and a singing, dancing ensemble of some of the Northern Rivers finest performers pulled out all stops to deliver an entertaining, high quality production that has left theatre goers buzzing with anticipation of what’s next for BTC.

“For the auditions back in May, the A&I Hall was reminiscent of a Broadway rehearsal studio when more than 80 wannabe stars and starlets who were put through their paces.  The result is a superb cast of enormously talented performers more than equal to the task of bringing CHICAGO to a Northern Rivers audience,” said Chicago producer Adrienne Megan Lester.
