The NSW Visitor Economy Industry Action Plan 2030
The NSW Visitor Economy Industry Action Plan (VEIAP) recognises the importance of the visitor economy sector to the state’s economic prosperity. The updated report identifies a number of key areas for growth, and established exciting new targets for government and industry to reach. Previews Action Plans have resulted in a 50.4% growth in the sector since March 2011. We look forward to seeing how the latest VEIAP shapes the industry until 2030 and beyond. Mullum 2 Bruns Paddle
The Mullum2Bruns Paddle is now the biggest paddle event in Australia. It’s on again on Sunday 27 May, only 8 weeks away. Over 1,000 paddlers including some of the world’s best will make the 10km journey down the beautiful Brunswick River. The fun paddle kicks off festivities at 7.30am, followed by the Best Decorated Craft, Dragon Boats, SUP Challenge and Kayak Challenge. North Byron Parklands would like to thank everyone who made a submission to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment regarding Parklands aspirations to move beyond its trial approval status to one of permanency. A total of 7,190 submissions were lodged with the Department with 98.2% supporting permanent approval. A similar percentage of supporting submissions was also received from the business community.
